Guess who is sleeping on my bed as we speak?
Why Brie is, of course!
Brie the cat is a two-year-old Domestic Short-Hair mix. Her back and head are brown/black stripes and her belly and paws are all snow-white. We adopted her on Saturday night from Adopt a Pet. She is AMAZING! She has gained quite a bit of weight at the pet store where she was staying because she was stealing food all the time. She's on a diet now, though.
Brie loves to snuggle and is a super playful young kitty, too.
We are going to rename her and we have chosen three names. We can't figure out which one to pick though. We are deciding between: Stella, Molly and Luna.
Bigby just met her yesterday evening. He was SO, SO, SOOOOOOO happy and excited! He started licking her and wagging his tail and running up to her. This was a bit much for Brie, so she wanted to tell Bigby. She lifted her paw and smacked him in the face (luckily she didn't have her claws out), he yelped and started crying. He got the message. He still runs up to her when he sees her and tries to give her a kiss.
Bigby hopes that his new BFF likes him as much as he likes her soon.
